Been some cracking big whiting catches over the last few days from the crack of light and turn of the tide, plus good numbers. Pippies, mussels and prawn best baits great squid of quail and Tyabb banks gummies have been in Lyalls channel Cockyanes channel inside and horseshoe channels best bait trevally and bonito.
Good fish up to 15kg for lots of flatties on the drift and for a bit of fun and bait loads of yakkas slimys and salmon burley up and you’ll find them. The weather looks great so wet a line. Good luck, and oh and open f4 am 4am over Easter.
